Ilkay Gundogan has reveɑled the three Barcelona players he is most looking forward to playing with after completing his move to Camp Nou.
The new signing took part in a quick social media Q&A session over the weekend and was asked who he most wɑnted to play with.
Answer?
“Ter Stegen, Lewandowski and Pedri.”
Of course Gundogan played with Ter Stegen already. The two have featured together for the German national team at two World Cups, and most recently a 0-2 loss to Colombia in June.
Gundogan also played with Lewandowski. The duo were together at Dortmund between 2011 and 2014 and Gundogan’s move will see them reunite at Barcelona. Gundogan played 74 games with Lewandowski with a win rate of 64.4%.
Of course, Gundogan has yet to play with Pedri, but the fɑct that he checks the teenager’s name is quite commendable.
