When Erling Haaland was announced as the cover star of EA Sports FC 2024, his trendy hairstyle and distinctive sense of style grabbed the show, but fans are perplexed.

Erling Haaland attended the official EA Sports FC reveal to celebrate his cover appearance, however many people were perplexed by his costume.

The Manchester City and Norway striker was chosen to appear on the front cover of the new video game, which is the first time it has not been affiliated with FIFA. The 22-year-old made a WWE-style entrance in front of a pleased audience in Amsterdam, but viewers at home noticed something else.

On social media, one spectator said, “Haaland with dreads and in his pyjamas, what am I seeing?” “Haaland showed up to the FC24 Premier in his pyjamas, he really doesn’t rate it,” a second added.

“Haaland rocks up in his pyjamas and says the cover ‘isn’t bad’ I can’t with this guy,” said a third.

“Haaland wearing his fuc ing pyjamas hahahah,” said a fourth.

It’s not the first time Haaland has been spotted in designer comfies, most recently when City celebrated their Treble in a local restaurant.

The game’s cover, which depicts Haaland striking the ball during his five-goal haul against RB Leipzig, has also received negative feedback.

Following the conclusion of their cooperation, EA Sports has emerged from FIFA’s shadow.

However, the developers have obtained licenses from nearly 19,000 players, 700 clubs, and 100 stadiums.

The game will be launched on September 29, following the start of the new season, with the Ultimate Edition cover depicting 30 iconic players.

Fans have also criticized this, with one stating, “Hold up… Some of these players don’t resemble them at all.”

Haaland and his girlfriend have been enjoying their summer off from the sport.

The Treble winner has been beaming while vacationing in St. Tropez with Isabel Johansen, enjoying every second.

Haaland, who has 52 goals in 53 games during his first season with City, might have alarmed fans by implying that he might get an injury while water skiing.
