Young prospect Noam Emeran stole the show in Manchester United’s pre-season friendly win over Leeds, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
It is a much-needed jolt for the French winger, who signed a new contract in 2022 and then spent the first part of last season battling injuries.
He ended the campaign strongly, netting four goals in his last three games, and has picked up where he left off. Now there are teams queuing up for his signature.

French outlet Footmercato now name five clubs who have registered interest in signing Noam Emeran on loan.
Describing the 20-year-old as a ‘formidable dribbler’, is it claimed Belgian side Anderlecht are keen along with French club Strasbourg.
Premier League clubs in England Erik ten Hag would suggest eager Dutch team Vitesse Arnhem. Sunderland and Coventry City are also interested.
Amad spent the previous season on loan at Sunderland, and United was pleased with his growth, so that one would be worth watching.
In addition, it’s been reported that unidentified Belgian teams are willing to compete with Anderlecht for his services.
Emeran’s dominating preseason performance early on suggests that a loan agreement may be struck this month. Ten Hag might not have relied on him because he has unquestionably made himself visible in the storefront window.
Emeran had hoped for loan last year
Noam Emeran signed a contract extension last year which runs to 2024 with an option to extend to 2025.
According to Footmercato, he had interest from Werder Bremen, Augsburg, and Nantes but nothing came of it.
Emeran was left without a move, regardless of whether offers simply weren’t offered, health issues hindered a trade, or United simply wanted Emeran to stay for another year.
After making headlines this week, it’s unlikely that this will still be the case come summer. Emeran is undoubtedly prepared to put himself to the test as a line of clubs starts to form.
