Noam Emeran, a teenage player for Manchester United, gave a powerful 45-minute effort in Oslo as the Red Devils defeated Leeds.
Noam Emeran, a promising young player, scored one goal and provided one assist in Manchester United’s victory over Leeds in a preseason friendly to steal the show.
It is a much-needed jolt for the French winger, who signed a new contract in 2022 and then spent the first part of last season battling injuries.
He ended the campaign strongly, netting four goals in his last three games, and has picked up where he left off. Now there are teams queuing up for his signature.
Noam Emeran loan interest
French outlet Footmercato now name five clubs who have registered interest in signing Noam Emeran on loan.
Describing the 20-year-old as a ‘formidable dribbler’, is it claimed Belgian side Anderlecht are keen along with French club Strasbourg.
Premier League clubs in England Erik ten Hag would suggest eager Dutch team Vitesse Arnhem. Sunderland and Coventry City are also interested.
Amad spent the previous season on loan at Sunderland, and United was pleased with his growth, so that one would be worth watching.
Additionally, it is said that unknown clubs from Belgium are prepared to compete with Anderlecht for his services.
It’s probable that a loan agreement may be reached this month as a result of Emeran’s decisive preseason performance early on. He has undoubtedly put himself in the shop window and Ten Hag may not have been depending on him.
Emeran had hoped for loan last year
Noam Emeran signed a contract extension last year which runs to 2024 with an option to extend to 2025.
Footmercato claims that Augsburg, Werder Bremen, and Nantes were all interested in signing him on a loan, but nothing happened.
Whether offers just weren’t made, health issues prevented a trade, or United simply wanted Emeran to stay for another year, Emeran was left without a move.
It’s unlikely that this will still be the case come summer after garnering headlines this week. Emeran is certainly ready to test himself as a line of clubs begins to emerge.
