Journalist Charles Watts revealed that Arsenal could lose midfielder Charlie Patino in the near future.
A few weeks ago, it was reported that Arsenal were preparing to sell young talent Charlie Patino, who was recruited by manager Arsene Wenger at the age of 11 this summer, but according to Charles Watts this is a decision the Gunners need to consider.
Watts said: “Not every young player can go to Arsenal, look at someone like Charlie Patino now, you mention him, he had a great loan spell, but no longer has it. door, he doesn’t believe it, nor does Arsenal have a plan (to use Patino).”
“So the decision has been made, albeit somewhat reluctantly, to let him go this summer. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m sure it will,” the journalist added.
At this point, when his teammates are gathering in Germany to prepare for the pre-season, Patino is said to be staying in London. Other young players such as Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Reuell Walters have been trusted by coach Mikel Arteta.
Last season, Patino was loaned to Blackpool. He scored 2 goals and 4 assists.

According to The Athletic, the midfielder hopes to leave in search of a regular starting position in the first team.
It is said that Patino does not want to spend another season on loan, meaning he wants the chance to find a home elsewhere.
Patino emerged as one of the next potential stars in Arsenal’s Hale End academy when he made his debut in the Carabao Cup clash in December 2021.
Patino is clearly a top talent and news of his availability this summer is sure to alert a number of clubs in England and across Europe to the prospect of signing him.
