The captain of Liverpool grabbed a lot of attention on his first day back by exhibiting a physique that halted both Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah in their tracks.

The AXA Training Centre was buzzing with activity as 14 senior players returned from holiday and prepared for testing before returning to the pitch.

On their first day as Reds, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai were greeted, with both players and coaches catching up after a six-week break.

Several moments were captured during the day, including Trent Alexander-Arnold’s new hair and Klopp hugs.

“Did you happen to see this?” My god”

Many people drew Rocky references in response to Jordan Henderson’s social media posts about his boxing preparation prior to his return to Liverpool, and his efforts were quickly acknowledged.

Did you happen to see this? My god!” Salah exclaimed, while Robertson couldn’t help but comment, “wow, what a physique.””Isn’t it all boxing?”

I feel it’s safe to presume they weren’t the only ones that said similar things throughout the day.

First day of school

The first day for Mac Allister and Szoboszlai had finally arrived after a few weeks of anticipation, and they had no shortage of players or personnel to meet.

And, naturally, the supervisor was waiting with his famous embrace – the first of many!

Klopp is aware that the duo needs time to settle and acclimate to the new demands, but it’s an exciting time and we could see them play in the first summer friendly in just eight days!
