Casemiro claims he would not have made the decision earlier in his career and that the opportunity to go from Real Madrid to Manchester United came at the best time for him.
The 31-year-old signed a four-year contract with the Red Devils and moved to Old Trafford from the Santiago Bernabeu last summer for £60 million.
Few questioned the talent of the Brazil international, but there were concerns about the price tag for a player at that point in his career.
But Casemiro has performed admirably for Manchester United thus far, netting seven goals in 51 games across all competitions while playing in the holding midfield position.
He claims that he would not have even considered leaving Real Madrid a year prior to doing so, but the chance for a fresh challenge presented itself to him at the ideal time.
When asked why he left Spain, Casemiro said to Placar TV, “I had a number of reasons.” “I had a variety of factors that one places on a scale and compensates for,” the person said.
Speaking of explanations, I naturally spoke with my family. It’s crucial that we speak with my family. They agreed that everything would work out just fine. Of course, my wife, family, and children’s happiness is equally vital.
There was a period when it made sense to leave the club—a fantastic club. There are times in your life when you have the drive and power to move.
I would also add that I would not have left if it had been two years earlier. I would not have left Real Madrid to join another major European organization if it had occurred in two or three years. There is a desire to play in a different league.
