PHOTO GALLERY: 28 Arsenal players set off for training tour in Germany

The Arsenal first-team squad set out on their pre-season tour, flying to Germany for a training camp at Adidas headquarters.

With many of the club’s international players returning to practice on Saturday, the Arsenal team is practically fully stocked at this point. As a result, there haven’t been as many young players traveling.

On the plane on Sunday, though, were a few Academy Award winners, including Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, and Reuell Walters.

Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are both midfielders, and Walters is a defender who can play either center back or right back.

New signing Kai Havertz has also joined the trip, as have recent injury absentees Takehiro Tomiyasu, William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Mohamed Elneny, Fabio Vieira, and Gabriel Martinelli.

Leandro Trossard also had a minor injury problem earlier in the summer, but he’s already been back out on the pitch for Arsenal’s friendly against Watford.

Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the list of travelling players.

Tour squad

At this time, this list is not comprehensive. Arthur Okonkwo, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Nicolas Pepe, among others, may have traveled as well, but they haven’t been found yet.

Any exceptions are noted below the list, which only includes the players whose travel to Germany has been verified by official sources. Return often to see new updates.
