Nasse Al-Shelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, has made the club’s stance clear in regards to the ongoing transfer drama involving superstar forward Kylian Mbappe.
Because of this 24-year-old’s possible departure from the French capital in the near future, the French club has found itself in a stalemate with him.
mbappe’s current contract with PSG has a player option that can be exercised after one year. In order to avoid losing the player’s fee when his contract expires at the end of the upcoming season, PSG will need to sell him during the transfer window.
Al-Shelaifi issued an ultimatum to Kylian Mbappe on Wednesday, following the presentation of Luis Enrique as PSG’s new coach, urging Mbappe to make a decision regarding his future.
Despite the obvious gravity of the situation, the club president emphasized that no other entity had greater significance than the club itself.
