Liverpool have been linked with Dutch defender, Perr Schuurs, for a long time and have already made one offer to sign him this summer.
Recent Italian rumors said that the Reds were prepared to submit a new offer for the central defender after having their initial approach of 30 million euros rejected.
Tutto Sport (via SW) recently reported that Torino anticipates the Merseysiders to submit their second offer for the 23-year-old sensation.
According to the renowned media site, if a club makes an offer of 35 million euros or more, it will undoubtedly persuade the player to join because he will receive a substantial income.
Therefore, Liverpool only needs to increase their initial offer by 5 million euros, or approximately £4.3 million, to woo Schuurs.
Torino, on the other hand, continues to claim that they will do all it takes to save their treasured asset, but if they receive a deal for 40 million euros, they will “question everything.”
In all respect, it won’t be shocking to learn that the Merseysiders have submitted a second bid for 35 million euros if they have truly already offered 30 million euros.
Before deciding to move to Italy in 2022, Perr Schuurs and Ajax Amsterdam won every significant championship in the Netherlands.
Van Dijk, Matip, Gomez, and Konate make up Klopp’s center defense at Anfield, although the last season’s defense was plagued by injury issues and inconsistent play.
