After Milan Skriniar’s deal with Inter Milan expires in the summer of 2023, PSG announced that they have signed him on a free transfer.
In the summer of 2023, Skriniar, the French club’s first official rookie, signed a deal with PSG that would last until 2028. The 28-year-old athlete actually committed to join in January of this year, which is when the agreements were actually made. PSG is available for free.
PSG actually intended to sign Skriniar last summer, but Inter Milan blocked them, so they had to wait until the summer of 2023 to sign a free agent from Slovakia.In 2017, Skriniar transferred from Sampdoria to Inter, where he rapidly established himself as a key defender.
Skriniar only made 31 appearances for Inter in all competitions last season.Due to back issues, he was out for a substantial portion of the second part of the season.
Skriniar has made 246 appearances for Serie A in total over six seasons, scoring 11 goals and dishing out 5 assists.He has won 5 championships with Inter Milan, including 2 Italian Super Cups, 1 Serie A, and 2 Coppa Italia.With the Nerazzurri, Skriniar has twice advanced to the European Cup final, the Europa League 2019–20 and the Champions League 2022–23, however both times they came in second.
After Sergio Ramos left PSG on a free form, Skriniar’s signing is expected to help improve the defense for PSG.Skriniar briefly stated at the signing ceremony: “I am thrilled to be a part of this club.
