‘At all costs’: Ten Hag is ready to reject all alternatives to increase crazy offer to recruit one of the best goal keepers now

Erik ten Hag appears to have one transfer target in mind above all others, and he will do whatever it takes to acquire him. Andre Onana, the goalie for Inter Milan, is the objective here.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Manchester United has offered Ten Hag substitutes, but he has rejected them because he insists on having Onana “at all costs.”

This follows recent allegations that the club was considering Justin Bijlow and Kevin Trapp as backup singers in case the deal for Onana became too expensive for the team to handle.

According to reports, Inter Milan is requesting €50 million for the Cameroonian, who only joined the team last summer.

According to the report, Ten Hag does not think that cheaper alternatives will be as important from a technical standpoint.

This indicates that the Dutchman is prepared to spend lavishly on Onana rather than sacrificing quality to save money.

This places United in a catch-22 situation. The story continues by stating that the club is undergoing an uncertain phase of ownership transition and that they need to be “careful of costs on the market” after spending big money on Mason Mount.

Additionally, United needs to add a striker to their roster, which would further strain their budget.

Many players are on the transfer list, and the club needs to sell to make room for new acquisitions. It comes as little surprise that the club has given Ten Hag options for targets that would probably be less expensive.

The goalkeeping position was not included in United’s transfer budget, but David de Gea’s contract issue has made it a top priority right away.

While Tom Heaton’s prospective exit has already been thwarted, Dean Henderson’s future is also in doubt. There are currently just two senior goalkeepers on United’s roster: a 37-year-old Heaton, who was the third choice last season, and a free agent named Henderson.

Ten Hag sensibly does not want to sacrifice quality in what is perhaps the most important position for United – both in terms of quality and playing style.

The severity of the problem is clearly significant, as The People’s Person just stated that the club has “promised” Ten Hag that Onana will arrive. One thing is certain: the manager won’t have given up trying if he doesn’t show up.
