Messi Spotted Dancing with Antonela at an Argentine Bar

Lionel Messi stands out as one of the most influential footballers in the world, attracting immense attention as he faces the decision of whether to continue his future at Paris Saint-Germain – PSG. With his contract set to expire on June 30, the football community eagerly awaits his choice, which could potentially shape the trajectory of his football career.

Nonetheless, one aspect remains undisputed for now: Lionel Messi’s unwavering commitment to the Argentine Men’s Soccer Team. Following their triumph in the Qatar 2022 World Cup under the leadership of Lionel Scaloni, Messi’s presence in the national team persists, despite speculations suggesting his departure from international duty.

Consequently, the members of the Argentine National Team are currently reveling in the glory of their victory on home soil. They have been receiving tributes and partaking in celebrations, which were long overdue due to their immediate return to club commitments following the tournament.

As a result, the footballers of the Argentine National Team gathered last night to engage in festivities, marked by singing, laughter, and an unexpected act by Lionel Messi himself. Messi, exhibiting a gesture even Cristiano Ronaldo might hesitate to undertake, became the top trending topic on all social networks in the country.

What exactly did Messi do at the party?

During the event, Lionel Messi graced the dance floor with Antonela Roccuzzo, showcasing his finest moves while adorned in an Argentine National Team jacket. Unperturbed by the formal attire donned by others, Messi unequivocally displayed his affection for the albiceleste team once again, relishing the company of his teammates and savoring the pinnacle achievement of his footballing career.

Messi’s heartwarming gesture following a hat-trick

In a match against Curaçao on the morning of March 29, after Argentina triumphed with an impressive 7-0 victory, Lionel Messi engaged in a shirt exchange with goalkeeper Eloy Room. As the final whistle resounded across the Unico Madre de Ciudades stadium, Eloy Room, the Curaçao goalkeeper, approached Messi and requested a shirt swap. The iconic figure born in 1987 readily obliged, despite receiving numerous similar requests from other players.

“I disregard the number of goals I conceded. I swapped shirts with Messi, and I admire him,” Eloy Room shared.

Messi’s first two goals materialized through skillful maneuvers within the penalty area, culminating in precise strikes into the far corner. In the 33rd minute, the “El Pulga” fearlessly bypassed a defender and executed a decisive finish, thereby completing a remarkable hat-trick—his ninth hat-trick while donning the national team jersey.

This achievement also elevated Messi’s goal tally for Argentina to 102. Previously, only two players had surpassed the century mark at the national level: Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 122 goals) and Ali Daei (Iran – 109 goals).

After an impressive display, netting four goals across two FIFA friendlies, Messi returned to join PSG for preparations leading up to their Ligue 1 match against Lyon on April 3. This fixture presents Messi with his sole opportunity to secure a title during the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
