UPDATE: Mason Mount enters new negotiations with Manchester United, but Adrien Rabiot departs

Mason Mount, a midfielder for Chelsea, is still a target for Manchester United, despite reports from ESPN to the contrary.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is eager to work out a deal for the England international and a new round of negotiations is about to begin.

As stated by Romano, “Direct club to club talks will take place within 24/48h to understand how to proceed.”

Chelsea would love to close a deal by the end of the month, according to The Telegraph, while 90Min claims the Blues would lower their £65 million asking price to £60 million.

£55 million was the previous rejected offer from Manchester United.
