Ex-Liverpool star

Sadio Mane, the Liverpool star, continues to make a significant impact on his hometown of Bambali in Senegal. He has invested over £700,000 in constructing new facilities, including a hospital, school, post office, and petrol station.

Despite his impending departure from Anfield to join Bayern Munich, Mane recently returned to Bambali and participated in a muddy football match alongside former Premier League players Papiss Cisse and El-Hadji Diouf.

During his visit to Senegal, the 30-year-old also took the opportunity to tour the hospital he funded with £455,000 last year, providing essential healthcare services to 34 neighboring villages.

Returning to his childhood village in Senegal, the winger eagerly participated in a local football match covered in mud.

Not only has the compassionate forward constructed a public secondary school worth £250,000 in the village, but he is also rapidly transforming Bambali into a thriving town, now accommodating over 2,000 residents.

In a heartwarming gesture, he was captured on film inaugurating a newly established fuel station and has already committed funds to the construction of a post office.

However, Mane’s benevolence extends far beyond the development of new infrastructure. He has generously provided each family in the village with a monthly support package of €70 and has pledged €400 as a reward to the highest-achieving students at Bambali High School.
