Talking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist Ben Jacobs reveɑled Arsenal’s stance on the Kai Havertz deal.
Although accepting farewell to Kai Havertz this summer, Chelsea are demanding up to £ 75 million for the service of the German star. As reveɑled by Ben Jacobs, Arsenal are not willing to pay this fee, and they will definitely withdraw from the race to sign Havertz if the Blues keep their valuation.
British journalist said:
“With Real Madrid, when looking at Havertz, they are not willing to pay much more than £45 or £50 million. Arsenal probably take the same approach, they will have a maximum fee for Havertz. ”
“If Chelsea maintain their valuation, Arsenal will skip the deal. But, what gives Arsenal confidence is that they feel the fee can be reduced. They also feel Havertz may be available leave.”
Arsenal don’t want to meet Chelsea’s outrageous price tag.
In another development, Man Utd also decided to leave the negotiating table if Chelsea did not accept the Mason Mount discount. Up to now, the Blues are still asking about 70-80 million pounds for the service of the English midfielder.
